Common CNC systems can be supported after the exact control model, communication interface and machine configuration are confirmed.
Series appearance reference. Dimensions, interfaces and supplied configuration depend on the selected model; confirm the technical drawing before ordering.
The TDAS-170 is a compact 5-axis CNC rotary table with a 170 mm worktable for indexed multi-angle machining on milling machines and machining centers. It suits small precision parts, angled features and multi-face work where reducing repeated manual clamping improves consistency.
For an integration or retrofit project, the table should be selected with the machine travel, available table space, workpiece weight, fixture height, servo system and CNC interface in mind. The right configuration depends on whether the application requires indexed 3+2 positioning or simultaneous 5-axis machining.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Worktable diameter | 170 mm |
| Table height, horizontal | 208 mm |
| Center bore diameter | 50h7 mm |
| Through bore hole | 40h7 mm |
| T-slot width | 12h7 mm |
| Allowable work load | 50 kg |
| Allowable cutting torque | 200 N.m |
Is TDAS-170 a universal fifth-axis upgrade? No. Mechanical layout and CNC control compatibility must be assessed for the target machine before installation.

Yidai external axis retrofit advantages
Matched rotary tables, servo hardware and external control options for indexed machining projects.
Common CNC systems can be supported after the exact control model, communication interface and machine configuration are confirmed.
Compatible FANUC and Mitsubishi configurations can use the original machine handwheel. Brother and Siemens configurations require an additional electronic handwheel.
A complete external-axis project can substantially reduce investment compared with an OEM additional-axis package, depending on the machine and project scope.
External control is intended primarily for indexed positioning and multi-face machining. Full simultaneous interpolation requires a separate CNC and servo-architecture review.
