Core Servo Control Products for External 4th/5th-Axis Retrofits
The YD-1 first-generation split control package consists of an axis-card controller, a separate servo drive and a servo motor. It has no fixed servo power range: the motor and drive are selected according to rotary-table size, workpiece and fixture load, torque, speed, inertia, electrical-cabinet conditions and project requirements.
The CSD700 second-generation integrated controller-drive combines axis-card control and servo-drive functions in one unit. It supports matched servo systems from 400 W to 1 kW and must be paired with a suitable servo motor. It can be used for indexed 4th- or 5th-axis 3+1 and 3+2 retrofit projects.

How We Approach CNC Retrofit Projects
Every machine is different. Before recommending a rotary table or controller, we check the machine model, CNC control, software version, available working envelope, workpiece size, clamping method and required machining process. FANUC, Mitsubishi, Brother and Siemens controls can be evaluated, but exact signal and communication compatibility must always be confirmed for the individual machine.
- FANUC and Mitsubishi: compatible configurations can retain the machine's original handwheel for rotary-axis setup and manual positioning.
- Brother and Siemens: an additional electronic handwheel is required for manual rotary-axis operation.
External control is intended for indexed 3+1 or 3+2 positioning, including multi-face drilling, milling and fixed-angle machining. Projects requiring full simultaneous interpolation, TCP or RTCP must be evaluated separately against the original CNC and native servo-axis architecture.
